Installation and Maintenance of Helical Gear Reducers:
I. Precautions Before Installation:
1. Before use, the installation shaft should be cleaned. Check whether the installation shaft has any bruises or dirt, and if so, remove it completely.
2. The operating temperature of the reducer is 0~40℃.
3. Check whether the mating dimensions of the hole (or shaft) connected to the reducer meet the requirements. The tolerance of the hole should be H7 (the tolerance of the shaft should be H6).
4. Before use, replace the plug at the highest position with a vent plug to ensure that gas is discharged from the reducer during operation.
II. Installation of the Reducer:
1. The reducer can only be installed on a flat, shock-absorbing, and torsion-resistant support structure.
2. Under no circumstances should hammers be used to knock pulleys, couplings, pinions, or sprockets onto the output shaft, as this will damage the bearings and shaft.
III. Use and Maintenance:
1. After installation, check whether the reducer operates flexibly. Before formal use, a no-load test must be carried out. Under normal operation conditions, gradually increase the load for operation.
2. The reducer is strictly prohibited from being used beyond its rated load.
3. Before use and during operation, check whether the oil level is normal. This machine has been filled with lubricating oil before leaving the factory. Lubricating oil name: Medium Load Industrial Gear Oil GB5903-86-220.
IV. Oil Change System:
The first oil change should be performed after the machine runs for 300~400 hours. After that, change the lubricating oil every 1500~2000 hours. In harsh working environments with high temperatures and large amounts of dust, the lubricating oil should be checked every half month. If dirt is found in the lubricating oil, replace it promptly to maintain oil cleanliness, extend the service life of the reducer, and improve economic efficiency.
